Snow, snowmen, snowflakes, sleds, shovels, coats, hats, mittens, and hot chocolate are just a few things associated with winter. Children may also associate Christmas and/or animals that live in cold climates (penguins, polar bears) with this theme. You may want to focus on winter weather during this theme and save the Christmas/Cold climate animals for another week.
